ECOL (European Crane Operator License)
Various renowned industry organizations, manufacturers, crane companies and trade associations from the lifting industry (including ESTA, VVT, Liebherr and HZC), have collaborated in recent years with the ECOL Foundation to realize a single European training standard for crane operators. The ECOL license must put an end to the diversity of lifting certificates in Europe.
The European crane operator license training (ECOL) provides you with the necessary knowledge and skills to move loads safely with a mobile crane, according to the standards of the European lifting industry. The ECOL training can currently only be followed at Mammoet Academy in the Netherlands. In Belgium, this training can be followed at Sarens.
XY Masterclass is accredited by the ECOL Foundation to take the independent exam for this training.
