Attaching and guiding loads / handling loads with manual lifting equipment

For the Attaching and guiding loads / handling loads with manual lifting equipment exam, the candidate must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Candidate must be at least 18 years of age;
  • B-VCA / VOL-VCA / VIL-VCU diploma or equivalent diploma.

No combination training of Attaching and guiding loads / handling loads with manual lifting equipment has been made. However, there is the possibility to offer both qualifications immediately after each other. In that case, the Implementation Regulations guidelines contain how the practical exam should then be organized efficiently.

The exam consists of a theoretical part and a practical part.

The candidate receives a diploma when he has passed for both components. The Attaching and Guiding  loads / Handling loads with manual lifting equipment diploma under the SSVV Training Guide is valid for 5 years.

There is a transitional arrangement for holders of the  Guiding of Loads diploma. The diploma remains valid until the date on which the diploma expires. Holders of this diploma are exempt from the Attaching and guiding loads / handling loads with manual lifting equipment diploma.
